I called Russ on a whim to ask some patent strategy questions on behalf of a business I'm advising. (In my capacity as research faculty at a top business school, I regularly interact with small businesses and entrepreneurs, and these sorts of patent-related questions come up from time to time.) Not expecting to get an immediate answer, I was simply hoping for a call back within a few days. Despite the late hour, Russ called me back almost immediately, listened to my scenario, and was incredibly instructive in his responses. He offered to look over some examples related to my question, and made himself available the next day for a followup call. All of this was done generously and without attempting to pin me down for paid legal work. He genuinely wanted to help me understand my options and give the best advise. I would not hesitate to work with Russ in the future. He's a standup guy who clearly bends over backwards for his clients (and potential clients).

WOW! There are not enough words to express my appreciation for what a great Patent Attorney Russ Weinzimmer has been!  I went to Russ right after being majorly scammed by a Patent Marketing Company a few years back.  I almost gave up, but after talking things through with Russ, I had the confidence to move forward and take a chance on a patent once again.
I’m SO happy I did!  Russ was very easy to work with, and was a great listener.  He gave wonderful advice when he saw things I did not see that could actually hinder a patent grant.  He is VERY knowledgeable about patent law and process.
After two years in patent pending, Russ was able to negotiate an allowance for my invention with the Examiner on the phone.  He also saved me a substantial amount of money on top of his already very reasonable fees he had charged for such sensational work. Russ was able to obtain an allowance right off the bat after only one phone call with the Examiner! That is very rare!
Russ truly is an awesome Patent Attorney, and I would greatly recommend him to anyone seeking help with their invention!!  I will be using him for any further patent work that I have! Russ is an outstanding patent attorney. Before hiring Russ, I worked with another patent attorney in a big law firm, and they told me that my invention could not be patented. This resulted in me loosing money on attorney fees and loosing time on filing the patent. I nearly gave up filing my patent. Nonetheless, I later realized that the attorneys did not actually understand the whole premise of my patent. I interviewed 6 other patent attorneys and I understood that they didn’t care or have an aptitude to understand the logic behind my invention and why it was unique.
