We love chili and this place was in an article for Tucson’s top places to eat. Previous reviews were mixed with being the best they ever had to being bland but we had to check it out ourselves.

We pulled up late night to get a chili dog and chili cheese fries. The bun was soft but the chili was bland and flavorless. It had lots of beans. Lacking salt.

A previous reviewer commented that fries were soggy so we asked for well done. Glad we did because once they dumped on the chili, it made the fries soft.

I can relate to some reviewers who say that they’ve been dining here for decades and it’s so great when it could be nostalgia. Whereas, others said quality has gone down and food was not good.

I noticed the workers wear gloves but they handle the food, cash and open the dirty sliding window all in one transaction and then repeat! Glad none of us got sick. The tables were sticky. It’s just a run down place.

The chili fries had several sizes. They sold us a large, had we known, we would get the half size because the portions were huge and it wasn’t good. Would hate to waste food.

It’s cash or debit only. Paying card will add on $1.

Great customer service and am enjoyable crew to be around while waiting for your food. Ordered 18 chili dogs (work luncheon) and had a fast turn around. Whether it's a quick dog or burger (or something else) I recommend stopping in. you'll be thankful did.

The menu somebody had posted on here was a bit out of date from 2016. So I posted an updated menu with prices. I haven't gotten to the chili cheese hot dog yet I always eat the fries first but they're delicious plain. I'll probably update with more pictures when I get around to it.
*Edit well I got around to eating the chili cheese dog, it was Delicious as it always is from here. Little side note I've been here before, but I moved across the city and it's been a while so I thought I'd check it out and make sure it's still as good as it used to be and it is. Definitely a good bang for the buck. $6 for fries and a chili cheese dog, well worth it

Tonight was our first time trying this place. We ordered the family deal for chili dogs. The staff was very nice and friendly. So we ordered our chili dogs with cheese and made it home with no cheese on the dogs; I was sure they would be happy to fix the order, but we live in Rita Ranch, and we were not going to make that drive. The chili on the dogs didn't have much flavor, and the fries were better at other places. I would suggest that people eat at other establishments. It's a shame because the workers seem cool, but the food isn't worth another visit.

Great food, sketchy location. Told the cashier to give me what the locals eat, and I was given a chili dog (I chose the spicy chili over the regular) and fries. Both were pretty good. There is no indoor seating and only four small tables outside. The majority of the people I saw get food ordered it Togo.

I moved from Tucson to Montana and I miss pats chili dogs and chilli burgers so much it's been 18 years and I still can't get it out of my mind. Bad thing is they won't mail it to me by the gallon. Also best fries ever.

Great spot for some chili dogs. Order at the window and take your food to go or eat at one of the outdoor tables or in your car. The French fry portions are insanely large. You can’t go wrong with hot or mild chili dogs as both are delicious.

This is gonna be a long post. Sorry, in advance. When you grow up between Detroit and Chicago, you eat Chicago dogs and Detroit coneys. They use beef franks that have a snap when you bite into them. Sadly, Pat's dogs aren't like that. I thought the hotdogs themselves were small and cold, and the chili was bland, even though I got it spicy. I'm not knocking Pat's, because there were plenty of customers coming and going and eating in their cars. So I know it is a popular restaurant with those who grew up with it, but I grew up eating hotdogs made a different way. Next time I go there, I'll try a cheeseburger. Oh, you get a lot of fries with your order, so that's a plus!
