Working with Marty was wonderful. When Stacy and Grace took over that’s when the nightmares began. I can see why there was a divorce between Marty and Stacy when you have to deal with someone like her. Grace was an even bigger nightmare. The property I was renting was going to sell. Given 30 days to move. The last month was a nightmare. No consideration of my private life, scheduling most showings with no notice in advance. Constantly harassing if I could move out earlier than the last day of the month. Keeping my deposit for outrageous reasons. Spent so much to try to push me out of the property and the house has yet to sell. All for nothing. If you are thinking of renting from this company, run the other way.

Dishonest, unorganized, and unprofessional. Lied during move in to units in Purple Rail complex. They scheduled move in date and time with no certificate of occupancy because the buildings were not finished on day of move in (August 15th). City had to issue emergency permit while parents and students parked in the heat for hours without knowing what would happen. Company issued texts with multiple excuses throughout the day, but never reported the truth: they were denied permit because safety issues on incomplete buildings. Buildings did not even have siding. Move in dates had already been delayed multiple times with multiple excuses.

Kameron was wonderful to work with when finding my new rental home! The day we met up I asked him to view multiple houses and he made no complaints and took me to all of them. On the last we found the perfect fit! Kameron worked with me all the way making sure we got through the application process with ease and kept in contact with us until we moved in! Do not rent from this company. Joleen Skipworth is an unorganized, unethical, incompetent landlord. She does not care about any of her tenants. Joleen puts on a front at first to get you to sign the lease just to screw you in the end. I attempted to terminate my lease (3 months in advance) because something rather traumatic had happened to me. I was told by Joleen that she had someone to take it over and that I didn’t need to worry about finding someone to take over my lease. I called again later in the summer to confirm this. 3 days after my lease was supposed to end, she told my ROOMMATE that the person that was supposed to move in fell through and that I was financially responsible until I found someone else (which I had to find out from my roommate because Joleen is incapable of communication). I believe Joleen didn’t want to lose money or do her job so she told me it was my responsibility to find a new renter. I called Pat Gray herself, no help, no communication. She told me to pray about it. Please. If it wasn’t for my Dad’s knowledge of Texas tenant rights, this company would’ve screwed us over just like everyone else leaving bad reviews. I ended up having to hire an attorney to sort this matter. Joleen cannot be trusted and if you rent from her, good luck. She tries to blame regular maintenance issues on the tenants so she doesn’t have to do her job. I paid my rent on time each month and was always respectful. It’s a shame that my family and I were treated this way. Glad I can finally share how I really feel about this company. Joleen, hope you can learn to communicate and do your job… Maybe you could try praying about it No one deserves this type of treatment. Know your rights as a tenant. This company WILL try to take advantage of you.

We loved the treatment from the beginning, JD was the one who showed us the property and then helped us with everything with the application and with any questions he was always available to answer any concerns, the property is super well cared for down to the smallest details. We are very happy in our new home.
